As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, TMR&D conducts all of TM’s research and development activities and plays a vital role in providing customized solutions through leading edge designs, fabrication and state-of-the-art technologies.

Main Activities
Apart from Telekom Malaysia as the main clientele, our customer database includes local and multinational companies, corporate organizations, universities, and other players in the information and communication technology (ICT) industry. Our main activities are:

- To identify and undertake research and development activities in Information & Communication Technology
- To develop, enhance and upgrade all aspects of the related technology of new and/or existing products, systems and services.
- To conduct studies, consultations, advisory, testing and management services in its area of expertise
- To use the knowledge and understanding gained from research towards production of useful materials, devices, systems and methods including design and development of prototypes and process.
