Kuala Lumpur :  December 14th, 2009 - TM''''s Multimedia University (MMU) together with National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT), Japan were the main organizers of the Asia Forum on Information Communications Technology 2009 (AFICT2009). This one-day seminar was officiated by TM''''s Chairman, Datuk Dr. Halim Shafie and took place in Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur where researchers shared and discussed the trends of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) research and development with the intention of expanding and increasing cooperation of R&D in the ICT field between Malaysia and Japan.Among the speakers were TM''''s Encik Ahmad Azhar and Jeremy Kung alongside various other representatives from Japan and MMU. TM being one the Main Sponsors for this event was given a booth to promote and publicize the products and services it offers, so they cordially invited TMR&D to take part in the event while at the same time promote our products and services to the academicians, leading technologists and engineers in multimedia technology that attended the forum.Among the products and services we showcased during the forum were, RFID - Smart Fridge, Mataku - IP Surveillance, uNme and our award winning Amplitude Probability Distribution (APD) Measuring Receiver for Digital Communication.
