Kuala Lumpur Convention Center :  It was a huge success for TM Research and Development(TMR&D) to have 12 out of the 14 products submitted to the International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) eventually winning a prize at the event. The ITEX 2010 was held on the 14th to 15th of May 2010 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. This year is the fifth consecutive year TMR&D participated in ITEX organized by Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS).

Congratulations to our researches for this magnificent achievement. This year, we won three gold, two silver and six bronze awards. To add to that, ten products were selected as Most Innovative Products. The Gold Award winners are; E-Cos, Raremix - Grounding Treatment Material (GTM) and Portable RFID Encrypted HF Step-On Antenna -For Accurate Time Recording In Sports Event. Besides that, TMR&D won the Bronze Medal for Best Design Booth during the exhibition.

The main objective of this event is to showcase new inventions, technologies and products, targeted at securing investment, manufacturing and commercialization prospects and partners. This event was officiated by Y.B Datuk Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation Malaysia on the 14th of May 2010. The theme of this year’s exhibition was ‘Creativity: The Pathway to Inno-vative Economy’. The event was held in support of the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry’s Year 2010 of Innovative Malaysia, Celebrating Creativity. In conjunction of the event, we took the opportunity to launch our newly-designed company website. The website was officiated by Dr Shahruddin Muslimin, CEO, TMR&D accompanied by En Jaafar Hj Mohammad Abu Bakar, GM, Marketing, Business Development & Commercialization. The new website presented new features and aesthetic colours plus a more user friendly interfaces.
