Overview

 

This program will cover the evolution of photonic networking technologies and future network designs. It will also cover integration of optics with other highspeed broadband technologies such as WIMAX, WiFi, xDSL and PLC in order to deliver broadband services to the end users. A combination of these technologies with optics will significantly reduce the initial investment for ISPs yet delivering a sensible broadband service to the customers which will cater for Video, Voice and Data. This program aims at opening up the opportunities and possiblities to network planning and deployment which will provide the best service with the lowest investment to the customers via an all-optical solution.
