FTTH Cable Deployment Guidelines

 

Overview

 

This program will cover the various method of deploying optical fibres to the users premises for FTTH services. Included in the program are cable standards, connection/joint specifications as recommended by international standards and internal cabling recommendation. Also trainess will be introduced to testing and maintenance procedures in order to ensure the network is functional at acceptable specifications. The program will also expose the trainees to various alternatives of cables, joints or connectors and delivery methods suitable fo all kinds of business and residential buiildings (e.g high rise condominiuma, terrace houses, etc). Hopefully trainess will also be able to have some hands on experience with various available products in the market to better understand their pros & cons.
