Title:

VoIP with SIP an Introduction

 

Overview:

This course gives an overview of the SIP technology. SIP – The Session Initiation Protocol is an application-layer control (signaling) protocol for initiating interactive communication sessions between users especially for initiate IP-Telephony (can be used for voice, video, instant messaging, gaming etc).

 

The course covers all the core functionality and features of an IP telephony network, and issues surrounding its implementation. The training is geared towards getting an insight into the possibilities and main functionality of the Session Initiation Protocol.

This course is aimed at a wide variety of people who simply wish to gain an overview understanding of Voice of IP and IP telephony based on SIP standards
