Background
TM with its mission to become a global telecommunication player has invested billions of ringgit in telecommunication infrastructure and is engaging new technologies in wired and wireless communication systems.
System Technology program holds to the responsibility to research and develop new methods, algorithms and design in communication access technologies. Currently, it focuses on 5 key telecommunication technologies:
• Access communication protocol
• Software defined radio (SDR) technology
• Signal processing digital communication
• Microwave and RF front-end design
• RFID
System Technology sets to become the center of technology excellence for TM to meet with future demands and challenges in the Telecommunication Industry.
Roles & Responsibility
System Technology has the following roles and responsibilities
• Provide technology consultation, service, development and solution for TM needs.
• Perform contract research, design and development for non-TM entities and affiliates
• Provide technology consultation, service and development for non-TM entities and affiliates.
