We are happy to share that our CEO, Dr. Sharlene Thiagarajah was awarded with the Malaysia’s Woman Leaders 2020 Accolade! This award celebrates leaders and achievers in organisations that believe in producing leaders of change in Malaysia.
Since taking the role as the CEO in 2016, Dr. Sharlene has always been a catalyst of change and successfully transformed the culture as well as mindset of TM R&D from a basic research facility to an innovation power house focusing on commercialisation and value creation. Under Dr. Sharlene’s helm, TM R&D delivers exceptional innovative solutions, progressing humanity and creating sustainable returns.
While some may have struggled due to various unforeseen challenges that come with COVID-19, Dr Sharlene together with the TM R&D team worked tirelessly and developed innovative solutions such as EWAR and collaborated with MDEC to develop the Data Exchange Platform in order to curb as well as bolster research efforts to combat the pandemic. With the contributions made, businesses are able to transition and adapt to the new normal with ease thus helping the economy get back on its feet safely.
