Organised by Preventation Engineering Sdn Bhd, Sirim QAS International Sdn Bhd and Xiamen Taihang Technology Co. Ltd., the two day event was held at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

TM R&D CEO Dr. Sharlene Thiagarajah was invited to participate in the Industry4WRD Summit 2019 held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. With the theme Accelerating Transformation towards Smart Manufacturing, the event was organised by Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Federation of Malaysian Manufactures. Dr. Sharlene participated in a panel session entitled CEO Forum: Unlocking Potential through Transformation. The panel session explores challenges and potentials of implementing Industry 4.0 with YB Dr Ong Kian Ming, MITI Deputy Minister as the moderator.

Officiated by Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the three-day event aims to drive the region’s green economy with ambitious targets to generate RM2.8 billion in business leads and attract more than 35,000 visitors, featuring over 300 booths from 35 countries.
