UI/UX and Creative Designer, TM R&D

Overview of Role:

TMR&D is seeking a talented UI/UX and Creative Designer to join our innovative team, working across both the research division and marketing communication unit. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences for our digital products and services, as well as contributing to the creative design needs of our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually compelling UI designs for various digital products and services, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to understand user needs and translate them into user-friendly interfaces and experiences
  • Support in the conceptualization and creation of engaging social media content, integrating UI/UX principles for optimal user engagement
  • Design key visuals for events and communication campaigns, aligning with UI/UX best practices for marketing communication
  • Capture quality photography and videography for events and high-profile guest visits, ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines
  • Provide creative direction and support for marketing and branding exercises, integrating UI/UX elements for a cohesive visual identity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategy, business services, sales, and research to ensure alignment of design with business objectives
  • Stay updated with new trends and best practices in UI/UX design, social media, and digital marketing to enhance the organization’s digital presence

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts or related fields

  • Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in creative agencies, in-house marketing departments, media services or production houses
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design software
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating diverse range of creative work including graphic design, social media content, key visuals, art direction, video animation and photography
  • Good understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory and layout techniques
  • Ability to understand business strategy and think conceptually, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering quality work within deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
