TM R&D CEO, Dr. Sharlene Thiagarajah received a certificate of appreciation from the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, YB Datoโ Saifuddin Abdullah for TM R&Dโs contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic at TM’s National Month Campaign Launching Ceremony held at Menara TM yesterday.
To curb the spread of COVID-19, TM R&D developed the Early Warning, Alert and Response (EWAR), an โAll-in-Oneโ contactless thermal screening solution that detects high body temperature in crowded places or one on one. TM R&D has also developed a contact tracing app and launched a Data Exchange Platform in collaboration with MDEC to bolster research efforts in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
