We recently hosted our flagship event – the TM R&D Tech Mocktail with the theme “Discovering the ‘Secret Sauce’ in the Era of Perpetual Disruption”. The event was graced by Dato’ Zainal Abidin Putih, Chairman of TM, who took the opportunity to visit our showcase and engage with researchers on some of TM R&D’s innovative solutions and projects.
Held at the TM Innovation Centre, our Tech Mocktail this time around was a tad different with the presence of industry leaders. We had the privilege of hearing from Tunku Alizakri Alias , Chairman of Penjana Capital who spoke about “Making Innovation Work”. Next, we had a panel session with the topic “Leading the Charge: Banks in a Perpetual Transition State” moderated by Karamjit Singh with a panel of experts namely Jeffrey Chew, GCEO & ED of Paramount Corporation Berhad; Joanne Rodrigues, GCFO of Affin Bank Berhad; Azizan Abd Aziz, GCFO of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad; Andrew Jong, MD, Personal Financial Services of Hong Leong Bank; and Azleena Idris, Sr Director, Strategy & ESG of Payments Network Malaysia. The session saw the leaders share insights on how innovation and technology are leveraged to solve business challenges in a time of constant change in their industries.
